Evacuation Warning

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has downgraded an Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Warning for low lying areas along the Russian River area from Unincorporated Healdsburg to Jenner. Residents are advised to be ready to evacuate should the river rise. Sign up for SoCoAlert notifications so that you can be notified by Sonoma County first responders in the event of emergency situations.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office has issued an Evacuation Warning for 20 properties in the Deer Trail Road area of Santa Rosa due to potential landslide risk. For information on this incident, as well as the addresses under evacuation warning, please see the Landslide page

Our region has the potential to experience a number of threats and hazards which may require an action such as evacuating, sheltering in place or preparing for extreme weather. The following incidents are not current emergencies, however will populate with the latest information in the case of an incident.

The County of Sonoma Department of Emergency Management serves as the primary coordination point for emergency management activities affecting more than one jurisdiction and the unincorporated areas of the county. The department is responsible for the mitigation, preparedness, planning, coordination of response, and recovery activities related to county emergencies and disasters.
