Unfortunately, there is not a “one size fits all” system or program to alert the public. Despite best intentions, there are also a number of technical and social barriers which could hinder communication. Because of this, there multiple forms of alerts that the County uses in a disaster to maximize reach to the public. All alert systems used by the County are free.
