Applicants must meet at least one of the two criteria below to be eligible for funding.
- Income Eligibility: Households must be at or below 80 percent of Area Median Income (AMI) to be eligible for funding from both the direct federal allocation and the block grant award. Priority must be given to households at 50 percent of AMI or lower or households that have one or more individuals who have been unemployed for the preceding 90-day period at the date of application.
- Loss of Income Criteria: Households where one or more household member is currently unemployed, and that member has been unemployed for 90 days or more, are also eligible for assistance.
- Households are at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
