Prepare for the upcoming storm by taking necessary precautions. Utilizing sandbags is a straightforward yet efficient method to mitigate flood water damage and erosion. When properly filled and positioned, sandbags serve as a barrier to redirect flowing water.

County sponsored sandbag locations 

The following sandbag filling stations are self-serve. Free sand and empty sandbags are available. Please bring your own shovel. 

  • Sonoma County Fire District Station #7: 6554 Mirabel Road, Forestville.
  • Monte Rio Fire Station: 9870 Main Street, Monte Rio.

City sponsored sandbag locations 

All locations are self-serve. Free sand and empty bags are available while supplies last and with some limitations. Most locations require you to bring your own shovel.

Healdsburg

  • Healdsburg Community Center: 1557 Healdsburg Ave., Healdsburg.

Occidental

  • Occidental Fire Department: 3800 Bohemian Highway, Occidental.

Petaluma
