A countywide event designed to help neighbors connect and build stronger communities. It all starts with just one person — and we hope that person is you!

Make your Meet Your Street event whatever you want it to be — long or short, potluck style, bring-your-own-beverage, or anything in between. Encourage everyone to join in, however they feel most comfortable.

The weekend of October 3rd-5th is a countywide opportunity to “Meet Your Street.” Pick a date and time to host your neighborhood event. Next, come by our office and pick up a promo kit to help publicize it. Your event can be as simple or complex as you want to make it. It is limited only by your time, resources and imagination. As an example of a “simple” event: put some chairs in your driveway and invite folks to “bring their own beverage” for an informal meet & greet. An idea for a more complex event would be to host a potluck in someone’s backyard or at the neighborhood park.

Conoce a Tu Calle

Un evento a nivel condado diseñado para ayudar a los vecinos a conectarse y fortalecer la comunidad. Todo empieza con una sola persona — ¡y esperamos que seas tú!

¿Interesado? Avísanos — tenemos todo lo que necesitas para organizar una excelente reunión con tus vecinos.

• Volantes: Plantillas fáciles de usar, solo tienes que llenar la hora y el lugar.
• Carteles: Listos para colocar en tu vecindario.
• Premios para la rifa: Regalos divertidos para hacer tu evento aún más especial.

Haga que su evento “Conozca su Calle” sea exactamente como usted desee: largo o breve, en modalidad de comida compartida (potluck), de “traiga su propia bebida” o cualquier otra forma intermedia. Anime a todas las personas a participar de la manera en que se sientan más cómodas.

El fin de semana del 3 al 5 de octubre será una oportunidad en todo el condado para “Conocer su Calle”. Elija la fecha y hora para organizar el evento en su vecindario. Después, pase por nuestra oficina para recoger un kit de promoción que le ayudará a darlo a conocer.

Su evento puede ser tan sencillo o tan elaborado como usted lo decida. Está limitado únicamente por su tiempo, recursos e imaginación. Por ejemplo, un evento “sencillo” podría consistir en colocar algunas sillas en la entrada de su casa e invitar a los vecinos a “traer su propia bebida” para una reunión informal de convivencia. Una idea para un evento más elaborado podría ser organizar una comida compartida en el patio de alguien o en el parque del vecindario.
