Sonoma County is working with new partners to provide a non-congregate site (NCS) for unsheltered individuals at high-risk of serious complications if they contracted COVID-19, and an alternate care site (ACS) for individuals diagnosed with mild or moderate coronavirus and those awaiting test results and who have no place to isolate or quarantine safely and expand sheltering capacity as the number of cases in the County continue to rise.

An antibody test looks for antibodies, which show if you’ve had a previous viral infection. The antibody test isn’t checking for the virus itself. Instead, it looks to see whether your immune system — your body’s defense against illness — has responded to the infection. Depending on when someone was infected and the timing of the test, the test may not find antibodies in someone with a current COVID-19 infection.
