The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning that includes much of Sonoma County effective 11 p.m. Thursday, October 17, through 5 p.m. Saturday, October 19.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions create the potential for easier fire starts and rapid fire spread. PG&E has announced possible Public Safety Power Shutoffs in Sonoma County due to elevated fire weather concerns. The event will begin noon on Thursday, October 17, until 2 p.m. Sunday, October 20.
