This Order supersedes the May 18,  2020 Order of the County of Sonoma Health Officer C19-12-I and shall become effective beginning at 12:01 a.m. on July 23, 2020, until rescinded, superseded, or amended in writing by the Health Officer.

On July 13, 2020, the state of California issued new guidance for several counties in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 statewide. The restrictions are effective immediately and will remain in place until the state takes further action.

The state Department of Public Health has ordered new restrictions on bars, restaurants and other indoor business operations in Sonoma County as part of statewide actions to slow the increased spread of the coronavirus. The restrictions will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, July 13 and will remain in place until the state takes further action, which will be no earlier than Aug. 2.
