Health officials are recommending talking with your medical provider’s office and evaluating on a case-by-case basis.

Most healthcare facilities have delayed or cancelled elective surgeries.

If you do keep any in-person appointments, practice precautionary measures while in the healthcare facility: Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer, cover any coughs or sneezes, and keep your distance from anyone else who is coughing or sneezing.

Discuss hygiene procedures with other providers such as massage therapists, acupuncturists, etc. Ask how often they sanitize their office and treatment rooms and what other procedures do they have in place to ensure your safety. As with medical providers, cancel if you are sick or not feeling well. Let them know in advance.
