Join the Sonoma County Community Emergency Response Team (SoCo CERT) and gain the skills you need to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community when disasters strike. Through the CERT Basic Training Course, you’ll learn life-saving techniques and strategies to help your neighbors when it matters most.

This engaging, hands-on training will teach you how to:

• Prepare your home and family: Stay ahead of emergencies with practical tips and plans.
• Respond to fires safely: Identify fire hazards and use fire suppression techniques.
• Take charge in emergencies: Understand incident management and become a trusted leader.
• Conduct search and rescue operations: Find and assist people in need during disasters.
• Provide essential medical aid: Deliver first-response care to those injured.

Basic CERT Class – 24 hours total
Dates: April 5th, 12th, and 26th (English language class)

Únase al Equipo Comunitario de Respuesta a Emergencias del Condado de Sonoma (SoCo CERT) y adquiera las habilidades necesarias para protegerse a sí mismo, a sus seres queridos y a su comunidad cuando ocurran desastres. A través del Curso Básico de Capacitación CERT, aprenderá técnicas y estrategias que pueden salvar vidas y ayudar a sus vecinos cuando más lo necesiten.

Esta capacitación práctica y dinámica le enseñará a:

• Preparar su hogar y familia: Anticípese a las emergencias con consejos prácticos y planes efectivos.
• Responder a incendios de forma segura: Identifique riesgos de incendio y aprenda técnicas de supresión.
• Tomar el control en emergencias: Comprenda la gestión de incidentes y conviértase en un líder confiable.
• Realizar operaciones de búsqueda y rescate: Localice y asista a personas necesitadas durante desastres.
• Brindar ayuda médica esencial: Proporcione primeros auxilios a los heridos de manera efectiva.
