Due to the rapid and positive response from the community, the Recovery Support Centers at the Healdsburg Community Center and the West County Health Center in Guerneville are no longer accepting new applicants for emergency financial assistance today. Both centers will continue to take information from applicants and direct them to non-funding related resources that may still be available. Both centers will remain open until 7 p.m. today as scheduled.
The activation of these Recovery Support Centers are part of Sonoma County’s collaborative pilot program to direct government and nonprofit assistance to communities disproportionately impacted by economic loss from the winter storms. So far, the program has assisted and/or identified nearly 1,000 Sonoma County individuals and families in need.
Residents are encouraged to call 2-1-1 Sonoma County for more information about available resources.
